This was an extremely expensive build and it shows.

Beautifully built with all the amenities. 350 Chevrolet V8 built by Michael’s, 700R4 4-speed automatic, cold A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, power leather seats, and more. Runs and drives properly, looks awesome, ready to cruise!

If you’re looking for a street rod that does everything well, this 1946 Chevy pickup should fill the bill quite nicely. It has all the features and amenities that everyone expects these days, it’s professionally built so it drives right, and it looks fantastic from any angle. The paint is recent and the two-tone Hugger Orange and purple combination highlights the Chevy’s Art-Deco shape. It’s clean, with no add-ons or questionable body modifications and it’s so nicely done that you’ll note the two-tone scheme even wraps into the door jambs. Gaps are uniformly tight, suggesting that someone invested plenty of time in getting everything to fit properly, and the doors close with reassuring solidity thanks to bear claw latches. Most of the trim has been painted to match the bodywork, which gives it a sleek look, but a few splashes of chrome make it work, including the headlight rings and the billet aluminum taillights. The bed has been smoothed and tidied up a bit and offers a power hard-shell tonneau cover and a beautiful oak and stainless floor. Opening it up always draws a crowd at shows. You’ll also note a custom Vee’d windshield, tri-bar headlights, and sport mirrors that are so nicely integrated they look like they’ve been there all along. The truck’s soul is 1946, but the execution is very modern.

The gray leather interior is anchored by a pair of power bucket seats from a late model with everything else stitched to match. The seat backs were customized to fit in the 1946 cab, and while there’s a little wear on the driver’s side, there’s still nothing better than OEM hardware when it comes to durability. You’ll note the custom door panels were stitched to match the exterior paint, and 3-point seat belts were added in the name of safety. There’s also a center console with power window controls, a tilt steering column with a wood-rimmed wheel, and even a pair of cupholders that probably came from the same OEM source as the seats. The dashboard is a completely custom piece with a beautiful wood instrument panel housing a full array of VDO gauges and eyeball vents for the A/C. Plush carpets help with noise and heat (there’s Dynamat throughout the cab) and a beautifully stitched headliner makes it feel finished. There’s also an overhead console with map lights and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo head unit. This truck was built with comfort in mind.

The engine is a 358 cubic inch Chevy V8 (that’s a 350 with an .060 overbore) built by the pros at Michael’s Racing Engines. It’s full of good stuff, including ARP fasteners, roller rockers, and Chevy fuelie heads on top, and it’s all documented with a detailed build sheet. An Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor provides the mix and an electronic ignition system lights it up. There’s plenty of chrome and polished aluminum under the hood and you’ll note that the smoothed firewall continues the exterior paint theme. A big aluminum radiator keeps it cool with the help of an electric fan and the accessories are tucked in tight for easy packaging and service. It starts easily and runs great, and there are only about 6000 miles on the build so it's ready to rock. It’s happy on pump gas and thanks to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission and 3.73 gears in the 12-bolt rear end, it’s a great highway cruiser. The front suspension is a Mustang II setup with power rack-and-pinion steering and disc brakes, while the rear is standard leaf springs (it’s a pickup truck, after all). Dual Flowmaster mufflers sound awesome and there’s a stainless gas tank hanging out back. 17-inch Billet Specialties wheels fill the fenders with fresh 215/50/17 front and 255/55/17 rear Goodyear radials.

Documentation includes receipts and miscellaneous paperwork on the build.

This was an extremely expensive build and it shows. The truck drives right, everything works, and it’s beautiful from any angle. It has won awards at some big-name shows and it’s 100% ready to rumble right now. You could probably build one for twice as much money, but why? This one is finished, sorted, and proven. Don’t wait, call today!
