We doubt this car has ever been wet, never mind used in foul weather, and like most of its siblings, it has been carefully stored when not in use.

One-owner car with just 40,862 original miles. 2LZ, ZF1, paddle-shifted automatic, and more. Fantastic color combination. Never used in inclement weather. Nicely documented. New Michelin tires. A used Corvette is still the biggest bang for the buck in the car world!

We’ve said it before and it remains true in this case: a used Corvette is the safest used car buy you can make. They’re always toy cars, never daily drivers. They’re stored indoors all the time. They’re impeccably maintained. They rarely get driven and only to special events. And when they get home, they get wiped down and stored under a cover. All of that remains true for this 2015 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, which has been an enthusiast’s toy from day one. Finished in Torch Red with a stunning Kalahari leather interior, it certainly has the right look. We doubt this car has ever been wet, never mind used in foul weather, and like most of its siblings, it has been carefully stored when not in use. It’s a one-owner car, and he has a lot of other stuff to drive, so this Corvette was only used on special occasions and has rolled up just 40,862 miles over the past nine years (that’s about 4500 miles a year). The finish is still bright and glossy, there are no notable chips or scratches, and it presents like a car that has been loved all its life (which is true). It’s outfitted with the ZF1 package, which gives it the body-colored spoilers and Z51-spec wheels, so it’s plenty aggressive like a Corvette should be. It also features a Cyber Gray hood stinger and custom red brake calipers, both options, and it looks all the better for it. If you’re looking for a clean late-model Corvette, we doubt you’ll find many better than this.

The real reason this car is special is the Kalahari leather interior, which is just spectacular. So much richer than plain old tan and a better choice for a convertible than basic black, it gives the Corvette a very upscale look that finally matches its world-class performance. This car is loaded with options, including the memory package, power heated and ventilated seats, heated mirrors, universal home remote, and the heads-up display. The stereo is powerful with XM radio built in, and the system includes navigation and performance data and video recorder, which can be a lot of fun. There’s virtually zero evidence of use save for some very light wear on the driver’s outer seat bolster, but that’s unavoidable in a car that has been used even a little bit. Otherwise, it appears virtually as new and in fantastic condition throughout. The combination of analog and display screen gauges means everything is configurable to suit your taste and the rest of the controls fall easily to hand. The 8-speed automatic transmission features optional paddle shifters, making it a lot of fun to snap through the gears and practical for just about anyone to slide behind the wheel. The black convertible top is power-actuated, so it disappears with just the touch of a button, and there’s actually decent trunk space in back, so pack for a road trip and head out!

The engine is a 6.2 liter LT1 V8, which was the standard engine in the Corvette. It makes enough power to dust off almost any other car you’re likely to meet on the street, yet is docile enough for your mother to drive it to church on Sunday. Of note, this one is completely stock and unmodified, which is how you want to buy your next used Corvette—no questionable mods, no hackey workmanship, just a car built the way the factory intended. Everything works, of course, and it drives superbly with no issues. It starts easily thanks to the wonders of modern fuel injection, and the transmission is smooth when you’re just cruising yet snaps to attention when you want to hustle. The suspension is a great combination of compliant and capable, and obviously the brakes are massively powerful. You can see by looking underneath that it has never seen foul weather—all the factory markings and decals are still in place. And those gorgeous wheels are from the Z51 package, wearing brand new 245/35/19 front and 285/30/20 rear Michelin Pilot radials.

Documentation includes all the factory manuals and booklets, original window sticker, leather booklet, and service receipts. It also includes the original front license plate holder (not installed).

We’ve sold a lot of Corvettes of all types, and they’re consistently the cleanest, most well-maintained cars we see. Owners are passionate about their appearance and care, making them a safe bet when buying one second-hand. This one has great options, an awesome look, and is 100% ready to enjoy. Call today!
