Hailing from out west, rust is a non-issue and that’s 100% original paint so you know there’s nothing nasty hiding underneath.

Super clean western truck in great colors. Bulletproof 300 cubic inch inline-6 with 4-speed manual. Cold A/C, dual tanks, tilt, cruise. New wheels and tires, 2-inch lift, fresh tonneau cover. A functional hauler with lots of charisma!

We’ve seen it happening first-hand: these trucks are red hot. Sure, Ford built millions of them but how many have survived? Better still, how many are this attractive, functional, and ready to go today? Regatta Blue is one of our favorite colors and it looks especially good on the angular F150 bodywork. It’s a nice change of pace and doesn’t have the dated look that so many of its siblings have (remember teal-colored trucks?). Hailing from out west, rust is a non-issue and that’s 100% original paint so you know there’s nothing nasty hiding underneath. There’s an appropriate shine that suggests factory enamel with 30 years of living behind it, but aside from a few minor bumps and bruises and one touched-up scratch, it really presents nicely. The big chrome bumpers shine up nicely, all the factory emblems are still in place, and even the headlights are bright and clear, not foggy and discolored. Someone took really good care of this truck!

The interior is functional, which is what you want from a truck. No worries about the vinyl seat cover getting stained, and the floors are rubber so you can hose it out after a day of playing in the dirt. ON the other hand, it’s also nicely optioned, including functional A/C that blows cold, a tilt steering column, cruise control, and a complete set of gauges. It shows 82,906 original miles, and there’s service documentation to back that up. And besides, that 300 cubic inch inline-6 is just getting broken-in at this point. The interior remains in great condition with no damage aside from some stretching of the driver’s seat cover. The dash isn’t cracked, the steering wheel isn’t gouged and frayed, and everything works, including the AM/FM radio in the dash. This truck also features dual gas tanks, which you’ll undoubtedly find useful if you use this truck for serious hauling. The 4-speed manual transmission makes it fun to drive and the transfer case is accessed by its own shifter just to the left of the transmission. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done quite nicely.

The heart of this big blue pickup is Ford’s 300 cubic inch inline-6, which is famous for both its torque output and its rugged reliability. By 1992, it was fuel injected, which means easy starts, a clean idle, and even more torque on tap than before. It moves the big 4x4 with ease and has the kind of low-end grunt that almost makes the transfer case’s low range superfluous. The engine bay is extremely clean and completely stock—you can still see factory decals and markings throughout. It has been nicely maintained, including a record of oil changes roughly every 3000 miles, so it’s healthy and ready for another 30 years of fun. The aforementioned 4-speed manual transmission shifts nicely with good clutch action, and with both power steering and power disc brakes, it’s easy to handle in today’s traffic. The suspension features a modest 2-inch lift with new springs and shocks, along with an aftermarket steering stabilizer. You can see just how clean this thing really is, with just a light coat of western road dust on the undercarriage and no issues in the cab corners or rockers. Shockingly, there are 3.08 gears in the pumpkins, which gives this big truck an easy highway demeanor—you can get away with such tall gears thanks to the big six’s prodigious torque. There’s also a new gas tank hanging out back, along with the auxiliary tank inboard of the frame rail, and all the fluids are fresh. New 17-inch alloy wheels were just fitted and carry big 285/70/17 off-road radials that really fill the fenders properly.

Documentation includes original owner’s manuals, some service records, factory marketing brochures, and a Deluxe Marti Report.

With an 8-foot bed, there’s not much this truck can’t move. If you’re a Ford fan, you already know the legend of the 300-six and with such great colors, we doubt this one will stick around very long. Add in a decent list of useful options, and you get a truck that’s ready to work or play and does everything well. Call today!
