This 2007 Ford Mustang Roush Roadster is #36 of 100 built and remains 100% as Jack Roush built it with no questionable modifications.

9459 miles from new. One of 100 Roush Roadsters built. Stage III suspension and supercharged 4.6 liter V8 with 5-speed manual. 2-tone color combination with matching interior. One of Jack Roush’s coolest creations, now at a bargain price!

Jack Roush should need no introduction if you’re a Ford guy (and even if you’re not), and the Mustangs bearing his name have become legendary in their own right. With factory-quality upgrades, ferocious performance, and limited edition cachet, the Roush Mustangs remain at the very top of the food chain when it comes to pony car performance. This 2007 Ford Mustang Roush Roadster is #36 of 100 built and remains 100% as Jack Roush built it with no questionable modifications. The two-tone Wildfire Red and black paint scheme was unique to the Roadsters and gives the Mustang an entirely new look overall. Of course, a full Roush body kit was part of the package, including the front air dam with integral fog lights, a custom hood, side skirts, and decklid spoiler, all of which combine to give the Roush a far more aggressive look than your garden-variety Mustang. Of note, it remains in virtually showroom-new condition throughout, and aside from a very minor scuff on the chin spoiler, the bodywork is exceptionally nice. Of course, it wears Roush badges as well as unique ‘ROADSTER’ emblems, just in case onlookers don’t know quite what it is. From any angle, this is an aggressive-looking car!

The interior also received a Roush makeover, including custom “ROADSTER” embroidery on the two-tone leather seats, cabon-fiber dash appliques, unique Roush white-faced gauges, aluminum pedals and door sill plates, and a short-shift shifter for the 5-speed manual gearbox. The other Mustang features remain, which include cold A/C, power windows, locks, mirrors, and seat, cruise control, and a great-sounding AM/FM/CD stereo that actually can compete with the supercharged V8. Jack Roush applied his signature to the center of the instrument panel and there’s a cool light bar that extends over the passenger compartment and incorporates the high-mounted stop light. Too cool! Aside from a few wrinkles on the driver’s seat, this car is pretty much as-new and still feels tight and well-assembled. The black power convertible top motors up and down easily and the factory soft boot is included to give it a smooth look when the top is down. The trunk is neatly finished and includes that awesome Roush tool kit built into the underside of the deck lid, one of our favorite features!

The 4.6-liter 3-valve V8 engine is enhanced with a “Roushcharger” supercharger, which huffs it up to 415 horsepower and 385 lb-ft. of torque. The result is a Mustang that is insanely fast, but thanks to Roush’s close ties to Ford Motor Co., it starts and idles like a stocker and never feels high-strung. My elderly mother could drive this car every day, never knowing how much performance was on tap. The engine bay is nicely detailed and super clean, and includes the production plaque designating this as #36 out of 100 Roadsters. The 5-speed manual snaps through the gears thanks to that short-shift shifter and there are 3.55 gears out back to make the most of the engine’s torque without turning it into expensive tire smoke. The chassis is extremely clean and has never seen inclement weather, and all the factory components are intact, including catalytic converters. Powerful 4-wheel disc brakes were standard on the Mustang, and the suspension enhancements provided by Roush make this car dance in the right hands. The exhaust sounds epic at full bore but quiets down at cruise and it sits on those very pretty 20-inch polished Roush wheels with 255/35/20 performance radials.

Documentation includes both the original Ford Motor Co. window sticker as well as the supplemental Roush sticker, a full set of owner’s manuals, original OwnerCards, Roush registration documents, and advertising brochures. The car also comes with a fresh set of floor mats, and a Roush Performance storage bag for the top boot.

Imagine you had the opportunity to go back to 1977 and buy a Shelby Mustang—that’s the promise of a Roush Mustang today. Great performance, a unique look, and a bulletproof pedigree, all ingredients that help with future collectability. Add in the relative rarity of a Roadster and the awesome performance that you can enjoy today, and you get a car that’s always exciting to own. Call today!
